My 54 didn't come with a heater. The little circular cover that covers the place the heater motor would poke through the firewall has the number 157 engraved in it. That same number is written in yellow on the firewall and I believe in another place or two. It might mean no heater in this case. So the numbers might just be ways to note the options that were supposed to go in a truck.
