should have spent the few xtra bucks for the one piece vulcanized rubber with mitered corners from Steel Rubber .... but with the cut strips, ends should go at the bottom, where they can be "clamped" by
the metal retainer that goes there .... can't find a pic right off, but someone may, or you should find instructions in the Factory Assembly Manual
