I had my frame sandblasted for $100 and primed for another $60.
Besides the fact that you shouldn't use stainless for the electro-derust, I don't see how you could build a tank for less.
Also, the process is known to cause brittleness making it not suitable for stress bearing parts like a chassis. | | |
