| | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | The 1940-46 3 speed is the easiest swap. These transmissions are not synchronized in first gear though.
As mentioned above being that the 3 speed is narrower the clutch/brake mount will either need replacing with a 3 speed mount, or use spacers between the mount and transmission.
