Well, I took a look at the bracket last night, and took some dimensions, and it agrees with what you guys have told me. A 3/8 bolt, the front hole is washed out, and the back hole is .515 dia. for the sleeve. So, I figured I would take it too work, bore out the front hole, press a bushing in it, and make a sleeve for the back hole. I put a pin gage in the big hole to align it against an angle plate, and that front washed out hole is no where close to being on the same centerline as the big hole. I double checked everything there, and then come home and checked the block, alternator, etc, to make sure nothing is skewed. Evidently, that is why there is no bushing in the back hole, just to get it to line up. Unless somebody knows something that I'm not seeing, we'll fix her. Thanks again for all of your help.
