| | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 246 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 246 | I have a 53 chevy truck with a 12 v system and a ballast resitor . My question is I notice with the points closed I don't get a light on with my light tester at the wire at the distributer that goes to the negative side of the coil . I do get a light on my tester when the points are open at the same spot . Does anyone know why ?
