I'm going to update that techtip (or write a companion to it). It has good info for those who get their insurance from an agent. If you're like me and act as your own agent, you can save big on your premiums. All it takes is research. And what I call dialing for dollars. But I'll go into all that in the tech tip.
In the meantime, the personal anecdotes are great to get 1st hand accounts of service, etc. But when it comes to premiums and coverages, you have to answer the big question for yourself by making the companies compete for your business.
