I just called Checker Industries about a soft tonneau cover for my 64 longbed Fleetside C10. I had my credit card in hand and was ready to buy. They told me that they won't make a cover for 60-66 Chevy fleetside because of the location of the stake pockets. Major bummer!!
So...anyone got any ideas? I looked at the
Truckhyde soft cover but at a price of $19.95, it seems like an el cheepo thing. I don't wanna spend money that I don't have to, but I'd also like to get something that's gonna last more than a week.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I spose I could always get some aluminum tubing, make a frame and see if I could get me darlin bride to stitch up a cover. Sounds like an awful lotta work, tho.
