Thanks for the responses guys. So my truck is a late 47' AD 3/4 ton truck with the 4 speed on the floor and a hand brake to the right of the shifter. I removed all the pedals and got a new firewall pad to aid in sizing my new mat. I slowly cut and trimmed the cardboard till I was happy and then laid it onto a 1/4 thick rubber bedliner and cut and trimmed it with a quality pair of poultry shears. I tried tin snips, razor knives and anything else I could find around the house that cut. These shears were slow but clean cutting and left a nice straight edge. I just picked up a case (6) of 7272830 Rust-Oleum Metallic dark bronze that I ordered online from Home despot. It was $34.56 shipped to my local store. I'll post some pics asap after I spray some of the interior and lay the mat back down. If any of you bolters hav'nt seen the posts of "Huck" here on stovebolt, his AD truck interiors are beautiful, and I hope mine turns out half as well. Stay tuned for pics of Photobucket.
