Gentlemen,

I am in the process of making some anchor brackets to hold the seatbelts for my 41. It has been a long time since I have had a vehicle with lap belts and a bench seat.

Before I start welding, I have a couple of questions:
1) Aesthetically, where should the female end (fixed length side)of the seatbelt lay when extended out on the seat? This is when the vehicle is being shown not when the seatbelts are being used.

2) Are there any attributes as to where the buckle and latch should rest when being worn (ie is there any ergonomic advantages to have the hardware placed at your bellybutton or off to the side)? The 3 point belts on all of my more modern vehicles have the female end very close to the corner where the seat bottom and back meet.

Thanks in advance,

Paul
