Would like to say that everything in this thread is just about spot on as far as the information in each post is concerned and should clarify the situation.
However, for those of you looking the situation over and seeing Brian say don't mix products and me saying how to mix products, don't think we are at cross purposes on this issue. Brian's frame of reference is technology oriented when he says to use a "system" all the way up. The paint companies spend a lot of research dollars to get it right product to product to avoid problems. What I'm saying is that I know that for whatever reasons, some decisions are being made out there to use ZR first and my input is meant to minimize potential problems (see ugly reactions) when the mixing of products is done.
