Sadly, my 1954 Chevy recirculating / defroster heater core (round core) was pronounced dead on arrival by Dr. Solder at the radiator repair hospital. I did some research and that round core is quite expensive, so along with the required new electric motor, hoses, valve, etc....we're looking at $500. Anyone try one of the square box / $200 complete units offered by several of the vendors?
