Used a 1/16 welding rod from the bottom, up the inside and not the outside like it shows the the manual. Used a remote view device and yes there is a block off plate installed, maybe the PO reworked the pillar because of a wreak. Anyway, the dome wire is in and now back the the rest of the wiring.
