| | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | 55.2 uses it because of the configuration of the shift rods that use an intermediate pivot point, the 4 bolt covers are all the same, but the linkage movement is different so the arms face different - was changed for '56 to eliminate that intermediate bellcrank pivot
