The stock PCV system appears to utilize filtered air from the air cleaner, which is better than a breather cap.
But it still sucks all of the water vapor that naturally collects under the valve cover (the highest point in the engine), back down into the bottom of the crankcase.
I would think that a portion of that water vapor would re-contaminate the oil.
