| | | | Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 899 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2008 Posts: 899 | Since you've replaced the cap and rotor be sure the cap is not too tall or the rotor too short to make contact. use ohm meter to test from cap center to end of spark plug wire while turning engine manually. Keep in mind that resistance will be high if using resistance wire. Look for open or high resistance reading. High resistance will show continuity meaning cap & rotor match. Doesn't discount bad spark plug wires though.
