Drill two holes?
I've got a '50 and a '54, both have 8 holes in the lower lip
of the upper baffle.
It would seem logical that all of them from '50 to at least
'54 would be the same. And, it makes no sense that they would
change them for the short period that they were used in '55.
So, again, applying a little logic, I think it would be safe
to say that they were the same, i.e., 8 holes from '50 to the
end of the run for the AD's.
If yours only has 6 holes, then I think it would safe to say
that it is pre-1950. It's possible that they added the two
extra bumpers along with the change from a three point cab
mount to a four point because of the problems they had earlier.
I do have an upper baffle on the shelf with 6 holes but I
have no idea what it came off of.

Well, it sounds to me like you need a pre-50 truck to go with that pre-50 upper baffle. 300 radios and only 2 ADs?
