I have no idea what kind of primer they used let alone how good the metal was before it was applied. I plan on chopping and extending the cab anyways so I will have to take it down to bare metal. Like you said hopefully not too much bondo. I'm still decideing on whether I am going to build up another cab or not. The cab I have now is chopped and stretched but the bondo is starting to crack from opening and closeing the doors(stress), and the cab corners need to be replaced also. But it is a driver. I don't know if I should tear this one down to bare metal and find and fix all proablems or just build another one.
