no, the springs were in place
I just had a chance to remove the distributor
the grease cup was jammed up against the cover
...pic... I had to pry it up to get it out.
the distributor has a grinding sound when turning
...video... and it looks like a nut is missing from that plate?
Checked the oil pump and it moved freely.
