| | | | Joined: May 2011 Posts: 49 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2011 Posts: 49 | The horn contact spring unit that is supposed to fit my '54 truck doesn't. It is too short. The contact spring unit is 1 3/4" long and from what I can figure out I need one that is 2 1/8" long. The cab was originally from a 3600 dually but I can't imagine that would have anything to do with this problem. Tried to jury rig it and burned up the horn. Literally. Had to pour a can of soda on it to put it out. Any suggestions? | | |
