| | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy spanners, I believe the six volt and twelve volt starters both have nine tooth pinion gears however they are different pitches from one another. There is another way to tell six and twelve volt starters apart even without the tags, the six volt armature shaft is a larger diameter than the twelve volt armature shaft, hope that helps. | | |
