I am working on my GMC 52 1 ton 9430 rear end trying to get the drums off with no luck. Ive given up for the night hoping some penetrant might loosen them up. I have removed the axels and the large slot head screws from the face of the drum, pulled the brake lines off and used a dead blow hammer to try to loosen it up. It is barely moving at all. Is this just a case of strong will and back to keep working it until it is free or is there a trick I should know about?
