Not like any of these can't be balanced out. How many of us complain about our V8's, our Honda or Toyota 4 cylinders, our 90 degree V6's? And now we're seeing new 3 cyl. engines. They all run well and smooth, whether by balancing or proper engine mounting systems, and they live for 200,000 miles these days. I think BMW is doing a PR job trying to justify their inline 6 engines. They also sell V8's and other configurations. Much ado about nothing!
