I used something a little different that came from Lowe's or Home Depot. It was a foil wrap used for water heaters. It's about 1/4" thick and sticky on one side and way cheaper than what you find in the parts catalogs. It came in a roll that was 12" wide by about 15 ft long. I put it on the floors, on the ceiling and behind the fuel tank on my '52 3100. I also went to Tractor Supply and got rubber matting that they sell for horse stalls that was 1/4" thick that I put over the foil in the floor. That made a huge reduction in road noise and heat in the cab.
