Now that I am in the FWD arena I have discovered some parts are harder to identify and find. Has anyone broken the code on rear shocks for the 66 (maybe pre-66) K10? Called some of the usual suspects (classic, lmc, monroe, rancho) and they are no help.
What I found so far. Monroe has a shock that length and compression fits but ilet is 5/8 in. Ilet for original shock is 3/4 in. Without the correct diameter ilet, is there an easy method to decrease size of frame mounting holes or is there a bracket idea that might allow me to use the 5/8 ilet shock?
