Bell crank end of rod has a clevis threaded on it. The handle end of rod has a little hole. Rod end fits into a hole in the Parking Brake handle, then a washer and cotter thru that little hole in rod. The end of the rod you are asking about has a 90deg bend in it. 55-59 GMC Maintenance Manual PP. 255.
