I purchased a 53 3100 that came with a 2nd generation 235 installed with a T5 5 speed and a 12 bolt rearend. I'm not sure what the gear ratio is at the rear, but I cruised at 65-70 on the freeway. Looking at the installation it looks to be pretty straight forward.
