You don't want to use chassis grease. It will not lubricate properly. You should get some John Deere cornhead grease or Penray makes a steering box lube. The factory service manual calls for a 00 self leveling grease (which john deere cornhead grease is).
I've posted on this before about what the service bulletin says to use.
