For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 35 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 35 | I have a 1948 GMC 1.5 ton. I cant find out what make/model transmission it is. It has a 10 spline shaft and says "C91894" on tranny by the base of the shaft. Towards the top on the right hand side it says "C95871C". And on the left hand (driver) side on the side of the pto cover it reads "o43586 GL92" and underneath that it reads "8 7 68 540". By the way it is a 5 speed and was bolted to a GMC 248. Thanks in advance. | | |
