Hello I just picked up a 61 Chevy Apache. Currently there are no working turn signals. In a box of extra parts I found a Grote 966-7 turn signal switch which I am unsure if it works or not. I found online what I hope is the wiring colors for these 7 wires. My question is, where do the turn signals get their power from? 4 wires go to the bulbs(RR,RF,LR,LF) ,1 to the brake light switch and 2 to the flasher. In addition, if there are two pig tail wires out of the actual turn signal lights(outside on the truck) how do I know which one of those wires do I connect to from the turn signal switch. I realize this is probably a basic question , but Id rather not fry anything if I do not have to.
