Hard to see rust if weeds are covering. Rust is the factor you should focus 80% on. Next is parts. 61-62 are pretty unique years. Windshields are very expensive for 60-63. Dash parts all there, a plus. Be very careful about rust above windshield inside and out as HRJ said. Check door bottoms. The other big thing to me is TITLE!!! Some patches are easy for DIY and some are not. Floors and fenders are "easier" than rockers, supports, door bottoms, structural. Windshield surround or door opening= near nightmare. Other valuable parts include good Grille, bumpers, wheels, hubcaps, seat, tailgate, hood and trim and emblems...and TITLE!!!! If much of that stuff is there and no rot rust: $500 is a good deal. The advice you got above my post is by some of the most experienced members, so take it in. IMO: The parts it has are way more valuable than $500 BUT that depends on where you live. Near big populations is good, rural means shipping big parts, not good. If you have a lot of swap meets in your area, real good.
