I just got a new rubber gasket for the front cowel vent. The problem I'm having is that it's different from the old one. The cross section of the old one was a rectangle about 3/16" thick and 1/4" wide, the new one is L shaped. I have figured that the upright of the L goes toward the inside of the opening, but the bottom of the L is about a 1/2" wide and dosen't fit into the grove in the body. If I push it down into the grove It looks like it will work but it dosen't stay put.
Has anyone installed one of these, does it get glued in, or is it just the wrong one. I hope this makes sense.
