Hy ff171, you will have to use the 261 flywheel, but as tclederman says use the bellhousing from your 228 that will put the engine in position, but you will have to fabricate something to support the front of the engine, Chevy engines are a bit shorter than GMC engines. I assume this was originally an American truck, as our Canadian light trucks were Chevrolet powered, hope that helps.
