Went to a friends house to look a 235 (1954) upon arrival noticed the valve cover was off two bolt running thru top! Red flag, remover cover checked head number 3835517 216 .located number on passenger front to the left of distributor, kinda behind dipstick, number was LBA 685346 cannot find it anywhere motor is rebuilt with a metal tag on it -stating performance rebuilt motor so before I purchase it can anyone tell me what this is? There was a number by the fuel pump 383 something ended in 49 I believe it is a 216 but cannot be sure but I bet all my money it is ....this came out of a 54 with a 4 speed trans
