The ammeter was fried & he wants to put a voltmeter under the dash instead. Does anyone make a retro voltmeter that will fit in the 54 gauge cluster? Are you staying 6v? If so they are difficult to find. You can find old 12v voltmeters all over the place. I looked for months to find a suitable 6v voltmeter for my '38. I added a stem light to illuminate it at night. Photo Edit: Here's one. If you have deep enough pockets I saw two more from $200-$300.
