| | | | Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 4 Member | | Member Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 4 | I have a 54 half tone. I took a tank from a mid 80s long bed and mounted it under the bed on the passenger side. I'm not a welder so i had a shop move the filler tank and vent to the top. They also made a custom filler tube to meet up with the stock location on the truck. The only problem was getting the gauge to match the sender but I found a shop in LA that does that. Works great and i didn't have to move the spare tire.
Life without beer is like a broken pencil.... completely pointless.
