I installed the CPP brake booster and dual circuit MC on my original engine (216) '52. No issues and the brake pushrod does not hit the transmissions or other levers. There is supposed to be a space between the brake lever and the pushrod to take up the mis-alignment. Grade 8 bolt is the safest choice.
Thanks David. Did you use the kit that came with the bracket to mount the booster to the stock bracket? The end of the clutch rod engages the pushrod on the booster about an inch on mine.
