The tag on your truck lists both the chassis number and the engine number, so while the engine numbers do match (which they should), the engine number and chassis numbers do not (which is also normal). I don't know about US GMC trucks, but US built Chevrolets do not have the engine number on the chassis/body serial number plate, only the chassis/body number.
