After reading many many many thread on several boards on converting 3/4 and 1 ton single wheel trucks to disc. I made a kit that uses your stock spindles and readily available late model OEM brake parts and hoses. It does not replace the roller ball bearings , I really didn't see the need. It bolts directly on the existing spindle using the existing hub with minor modifications to the stud length. You can use the original backing plate to give it that stock appearance when the wheel is on. It does move the wheels out one inch an each side but on the front that usually not an issue. I don't know how it will work on a dual rear wheel truck I haven't gotten my hands on a front wheel spacer from one yet.

The kit consists of
The two spindle to caliper brackets. 3/8 thick 1020 steel, The same material as spindles. The necessary spacers and new grade 8 bolts to mount it. A pair of 1" wheel spacers fitted to accept the new rotors.
It includes a parts list of what you need to purchase either new or recycled. All parts were from a 2003 2500HD turbo diesel 8600 lbs brakes. The kit is priced at $395 with free shipping to the lower 48. Some have told me they are getting the entire brake setup off express vans from recycling for under $100. I did the swap for $700 with all new parts.

I have some pictures here to give an idea of whats involved and how it looks done.
