I opened up the 216 I obtained for my '46 to clean out the sludge and it's cleaning up nicely. One little problem...the screen on the oil pump has a few holes. Not huge, just the little squares turning into little rectangles. And just a few of them.
The question: can I use it like that, or should I track down another one?
Are there breaks in the wire, or are the gaps just different in shape?
