They sold me a longblock 235 ci. When it arrived, they included a boxed up oil pump and and an engine gasket kit. The oil pump brackcet had been removed, and none replaced.
I brought the matter to their attention and they replied that they remove the bracket for engine cleaning and they do not prodvide a bracket, and further they do not care what other people say.
I will sell the thing to someone that thinks the bracket can be replaced. That way they will get a really good deal from me and I can recoup some losses. And then we can find out if the new bracket can indeed be replaced and the engine runs,...
Meanwhile, it is lesson learned, one foot in front of the other, and proceed. Plus I love the rocker arm cover, wore-out levi blue pateena with chevrolet embossed right on it. So cool.
