I think I know the answer to my own question. The rods are the same length in a 216 and a 235? I was wondering if the pin in a 235 piston is in the same location as the 216, but I'm think "NO". I seen in my book where they bored out a 216 engine 1/8" to a 3 5/8" bore making it a 232 engine.
