Sorry to say, but you're not going to be able to paint much of anything with that size compressor. Any HVLP gun worth it's salt will require 8-10 cfm and many require more than that. Your compressor will run constantly to try and keep up, generating more heat and moisture......bad stuff. Better look around for something bigger, much bigger if you plan to do much painting.
