Nothing like silicone or any "contaminants" are going to cause "lifting" which is what this is. It is caused by the solvents getting thru or under something like primer or paint, PERIOD. It happened on the top because this is where you applied the primer heavier.

The thing is there was some thin paint or primer up there that is not a cured 2K product. It is soft, and soluable. When you applied the primer over it (top being applied wetter, human nature) it had more solvents in it that soaked into the soluable substrate and lifted it.

Check out the other thread for an article on "surface cleaners", don't use "thinner". smile
