If you use an 81 to replace a 63 Richard, and it's twice as bright then wouldn't it be about as bright as the stop light?
Not even close. If you use the #1129 as the stop light you'll have 8cp + 21cp for a total of 29cp for the brake light when you have the lights on. 21cp when you don't have them on. When the headlights are on and you apply the brakes the tail light filament stays lit.
And would you be able to see the stoplight when applied???
Only if you have your eyes open.
