probably, but not necessarily. There are a few more components that may be incorrect, the module itself may be bad, does the rotor and cap match, do the wires actually seat in the cap and have electrical continuity. Is every thing grounded properly? I have had all the above happen at one time or another. Are you getting the proper voltage? The electronic ignitions are more sensitive to voltage. There is a vey good chance you just have the timing off a bit. But if you don't get spark, you will eventually come to these places to look as well. I just spent two evenings trying to figure out why my lawn mower that ran flawlessly last weekend, wouldn't start THIS weekend. Turns out there was/is a itty bitty wire going from the coil to the ignition switch that was pinched between the starter and the block. That would sometimes not ground out and kill the engine, and sometimes wouldn't ground out and let the engine run. things like that.
