I kept the frame on my '48 and put a Mustang 2 front end and an S10 rear end under it. You can see what I did in my build thread "'48 extended cab with attitude" located in the hipo shop. I also put a '77 Camaro sub frame under the '52 panel I built years ago. That wasn't too bad. Right now we are putting an S10 frame under my daughter's '46 International because her frame was junk. It is a ton of work making all new mounts and locating it all in the right spots. I would definitely recommend keeping the stock frame.
