Just food for thought....I would think you would need to know what the spline count is on the replacement box? When going to power steering on most AD's folks are sitting the box outside the chassis toward the front. Then you need a pitman arm off say a Malibu/monte carlo/buick and several other GM vehicles in order to get the 5 or 5 1/2" length you will need. It would seem they are all the same but I'm sure somewhere they are some that is different? I used a box off a 1976 truck and a pitman arm off a 69 Buick that was laying in the shop for my 52Panel.

Eh, still need to know the spline count on the stock unit. Not going to put the gear up front, going to put it where the stock gear is located.
