click "Chevrolet Trucks (All Models Not Listed Below) Show" [starts with 1930] for the year you settle on should have some info on where various numbers are located, but back then the title vin [not VIN] was almost certainly the engine number, the GM vehicle serial number wasn't widely used on titles until the mid 50's
