mallard, I sprayed my frame with the stuff last winter. If you spray the Chassis Black within a certain amount of time ( 48 hrs I think ? ) you do not have to scuff up the Corroless. It did an acceptable job, it certainly is not chip proof. The rattle cans do not go far, I bought it in quarts and sprayed it with a gun..
As for how long it holds up, mine looks good but has only been on there a year.
